Security Level 2 Youth

Level 2

For students aged 17 to 19 

Prepare for a career in security or the armed forces! This course is designed to get 16-19 year olds to the physical fitness level required for a uniformed role, and covers aspects of law, emergency procedures, radio communications, personal risk and unarmed straight strategies.

Security Level 2 Adults

Level 2

For students aged 20+

Prepare for a career in security or the armed forces! This course is designed to get adults to the physical fitness level required for a uniformed role, and covers aspects of law, emergency procedures, radio communications, personal risk and unarmed straight strategies.

Security Level 3 Youth

Level 3

For students who have completed Security Level 2.

The security industry is growing fast and they need skilled people to fill its ranks. The NZ defence force and Police are on the lookout for recruits with NCEA level 3. This course offers fitness training to industry requirements, lessons on law, electronic surveillance and terrorism, as well as the opportunity to gain NCEA Level 3.

Security and Events - one year
