Looking for a career in uniform? Our National Certificate in Security (Level 2) will prepare you for a career in the Armed Forces, Police, Fire Service, Corrections Department, Security Services and more...

This Level 2 course is free for students aged 20+ and runs for 18 weeks. Students have the opportunity to gain credits towards Level 2 NCEA. Plus, graduates of this course will also receive their Certificate of Approval (COA). This qualification is an essential requirement when working in the security industry.


About This Course

This course is designed to get you up to the physical fitness levels required for a uniformed role. You will cover aspects of the law, emergency procedures, radio communications, along with personal risk and unarmed restraint strategies. 

Emphasis is placed on fitness and team work throughout the course, and personal appearance such as hair and general tidiness will be monitored in line with the Security Industry standards
